CORRECT PARTS:
This Upgrade Package takes the guess work out of selecting individual parts for your 250 BUGGY. We have packaged all of the correct parts you need to perform this upgrade for a 250 Buggy. If you have a CN250 Buggy, this kit will work for you. MRP carries over 4000 parts for many Scooters and engine types. We get many calls from customers saying that they ordered the wrong parts elsewhere. Don't order scooter parts if you have a Buggy!
Dr. PULLEY RACE VARIATOR
Racing Variators increase both Take-off and Speed. We have included a set of (6) 19 Gram Sliders for this Variator. This will allow lower gearing to wind out more giving you a substantial increase in low end power.

This Racing Variator from Dr. Pulley is precision engineered to increase performance over stock variators. Specially coated ramp plates create less friction on the Sliders, allowing them to adapt more rapidly to changing driving conditions and resulting in less wear.

Dr. PULLEY SLIDERS
We have included a set of (6) 19 Gram Sliders with this kit. This weight should provide optimum performance when installed on your Dr. Pulley Performance Variator
MAIN CLUTCH TORQUE SPRING
We have selected the Red "SHORTY" High Performance Main Clutch Torque Spring for this kit. The Red Shorty Spring engages at 2000rpm which is the same as the Full Length Blue Spring. The Red Shorty works well with this kit. You can select the Blue Spring in Product Options above if you prefer.
The clutch Main Torque Spring keeps tension on the belt and counters the force of the slider weights. Along with the slider weights, it controls the shift points.
Replacing the stock clutch Torque Spring is an inexpensive upgrade that can increase the responsiveness of your Buggy.
The main torque spring makes it harder for the variator to draw the belt inward on the clutch. This keeps the buggy in a lower gear ratio at higher RPMs, and "downshifts" faster when decelerating so you're in a lower ratio when you hit the gas again.
A stiffer main spring shifts the CVT system faster, giving you more power when coming out of a corner or going uphill. Even better, a clutch torque spring does not affect your top speed!
Note: Using lower weight rollers (15-17g) with this spring can affect your top speed due to the rollers not being heavy enough to fully overcome the spring's tension.
