EASY INTALLATION:
The components in this kit are moderately easy to install by the customer
The 231802 Clutch is designed to be used with your existing Stock Bell and Pulley. Your Bell should be 135mm ID. Measure your stock bell to insure a correct fit
Dr. PULLEY HiT PERFORMANCE CLUTCH
The Dr. Pulley HiT High Performance Racing Clutch is the Top-of-the-line Clutch for your Buggy. It includes an assortment of clutch springs to adjust the performance of the clutch.
The HiT Racing Clutch dramatically increase both power and speed by up to 40%.

WHY UPGRADE THE CLUTCH?
Our customers ask us why is it essential to upgrade the clutch. The reason is because the stock clutches are simply not very good. In some Buggies you can see an increase of up to 40% in power just by changing the stock clutch. Our top dealers always keep performance clutches in stock and know that racers change these at least once a year or after two or three races depending on their use

Dr. PULLEY RACE VARIATOR
Racing Variators increase both Take-off and Speed. The Slider weights can be installed in your Stock Variator or in the Dr. Pulley Variator. Choose a set of 18 or 19 Gram Sliders. You can order both to mix and match combinations to acheive optimum performance. This will allow lower gearing to wind out more giving you a substantial increase in low end power

This Racing Variator from Dr. Pulley is precision engineered to increase performance over stock variators. Specially coated ramp plates create less friction on the Sliders, allowing them to adapt more rapidly to changing driving conditions and resulting in less wear

The 241801 Variator fits on a 17mm spline. measure your spline to insure a proper fit
Dr. PULLEY SLIDERS
We have included a set of (6) 18 or 19 Gram Sliders with this kit. This weight should provide optimum performance when installed on your Stock or Dr. Pulley Performance Variator
MAIN CLUTCH TORQUE SPRING
We have selected the Red "SHORTY" High Performance Main Clutch Torque Spring for this kit. The Red Shorty Spring engages at 2000rpm which is the same as the Full Length Blue Spring. The Red Shorty works well with this kit
The clutch Main Torque Spring keeps tension on the belt and counters the force of the slider weights. Along with the slider weights, it controls the shift points
Replacing the stock clutch Torque Spring is an inexpensive upgrade that can increase the responsiveness of your Buggy
The main torque spring makes it harder for the variator to draw the belt inward on the clutch. This keeps the buggy in a lower gear ratio at higher RPMs, and "downshifts" faster when decelerating so you're in a lower ratio when you hit the gas again
A stiffer main spring shifts the CVT system faster, giving you more power when coming out of a corner or going uphill. Even better, a clutch torque spring does not affect your top speed!
Note: Using lower weight rollers (15-17g) with this spring can affect your top speed due to the rollers not being heavy enough to fully overcome the spring's tension.
This is why we have included 18 and 19 Gram Sliders with this kit
