The Stock Kinroad Sahara develops about 17 horsepower out of the box. We have many upgrades for this model that can boost the horsepower all the way up to 21.5
The MRP CDI and Exhaust, coupled with Dr. Pully Clutches and Variators with lower Slider weight can dramatically increase low-end Torque, Speed and Power

MRP UPGRADES FOR THIS MODEL
HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR CN250 Buggy
The stock CDI limits the CN250 to about 5500 RPM. Our CDI upgrade fixes this and allows the engine to achieve 9500 RPM. further upgrades shown below can increase the output of the standard enine all the way up to 21.5hp with simple modifications.
Next, a Transmission Upgrade can improve Power and Speed by up to 40%. You can start with a Basic Upgrade to Slider Weights (18 or 19 gram) for your stock variator and installing a Clutch Shorty Torque Spring.
Further upgrades include a Dr. Pulley Variator, Racing Clutch and Clutch Bell. We recommend the N-MP-03521-1 Racing Clutch shown below because it includes the Clutch, Bell and Pulley to insure a proper fit. The Shorty Spring works well with the Racing Clutch. The Dr. Pully 231802 HiT Clutch can be used when maximum racing performance is desired.
The next step would be Installing a Performance Exhaust Kit, High Flow Air Intake, and 110 Main Jet.
Finally, a 32mm Carburetor and 300cc Piston upgrade will complete the transformation to a 300cc High Performance machine. The 300cc forged piston can be easily installed in your existing CN250 cylinder.

The Honda CN250 is a single cylinder liquid-cooled engine that comes standard with two valves. The crank shaft drives a CVT drive unit which in turn drives a final gear in the rear arm that is connected to the ouput driveshaft. The stock CN250 engine develops about 14 to 17.5hp. Both standard and aftermarket performance parts are readily available for these engines that can boost horsepower all the way up to 21.5hp. See ALL PERFORMANCE PARTS
