150 Performance DC CDI
for GY6 150 QMI/QMJ 152/157 Engines, No Rev Limitter, DC Voltage 2010 and later
The stock CDI restricts the maximum RPM causing a significant loss of power
The stock CDIs on all buggies have a rev limiter that restricts rpm to about 5500. This Performance CDI has NO Rev Limiter and allows engines to achieve up to 9500 rpm. It also advances timing as the rpm increases to max out performance. Keep in mind that while this CDI will allow higher rpm, the CDI alone does not increase the rpms. The CDI works in conjunction with other installed upgrades to achieve performance.
No Rev Limit Performance CDI with Direct Current for 150cc and 125cc 4-stroke GY6 engines. This Performance CDIs special design removes the RPM limiter and increases firing speed at higher speeds.
Unplug and pull your stock CDI out. Carefully compare the connector plug to the picture to make sure it matches exactly. the pins should be facing the same way as on your stock CDI.
