The stock CDI restricts the max RPM about 5500 causing a significant loss of power. Our CDI Upgrade allows your engine to achieve 9500 rpm. Easy to install, Just plug it in
PURCHASER RESPONSIBILITY
Please remember that by purchasing a product online, you are responsible for performing the setup that a dealer would normally perform - such as checking the tires, hooking up the battery, checking tightness of all nuts and bolts, changing oil, etc. Although we do provide some very good information and assembly manuals, occasionally some units may need other routine items checked/adjusted such as adjusting the carburetor idle and mixture screws, checking to ensure wires are well connected, adjusting chain slack and alignment, if needed. Since you are skipping a dealer and saving over half the price of a usual retail customer, you will need to perform the final assembly (as stated above). This will take generally 2-4 hours minutes to perform depending on your vehicle and skill level. While we will gladly assist you with any technical questions, we cannot refund or exchange your unit if you cannot perform these functions or refuse to let a shop do it for you. WARRANTY OPTIONS
The Manufacturer warrants the scooter to be free from defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. The Manufacturers Warranty covers parts only and labor is not covered. This FREE standard manufacturers warranty is offered with every purchase, however customers can also select longer coverage periods in Product Options above. Gokarts USA will assist the customer in obtaining warranty coverage from the manufacturer. Click HERE for more information. What's a Moped?
If you're an American over 40 then you probably know what a moped is. You might have once owned a Puch, Motobecane, Peugeot, etc. 1/2 million were sold in the US from '76 to '79 after the gas shortage. By 1985 the moped boom was over, and scooters became popular. A scooter has a floor, small tires, no pedals, and can have various sizes of engines from 49cc to 600+. The smallest scooters are like mopeds in that they are both 49cc automatics that go 30 - 35 mph. A moped means MOtor with PEDals, a hybrid vehicle half way between a small motorcycle and a bicycle. Since 2000, China has flooded the US with scooters that they call mopeds, causing confusion. In some states these vehicles don't need pedals to be considered a moped, like Hawaii.In California, a "moped", or motorized bicycle must have pedals, a motor with under 2 hp, an automatic transmission, and go under 30 mph. A "scooter" has a floor to put your feet on, an enclosed body, rear engine and small tires. A "noped" is a moped without pedals. In some states scooters & nopeds are classified as mopeds.
Lately "moped" has meant any kind of small motorbike.
