MiD XRX-R Petcock Reserve?
Tommy
(Florida)

The petcock on our new XRX-R go kart indicates that the arrow pointing up is for normal operation, pointing left for off and pointing down for reserve fuel however we have ran out of fuel twice now with the reserve not working. I took the petcock off and it seems like it's missing a pickup tube as pointing up and down has the same effect. Am I missing something?******************RESPONSE Tommy, sounds like the tube may have come off in the tank? you should replace it

Road Rocket Go Kart Kit 5" wheels

I put a 5.5 hp honda gx160 on this kart and it is a lot of fun for the boys. Having trouble with the steering though. Any advice would be appreciated. The front wheels are toed in too much and I have already threaded the steering rods in as far as they go. Thinking of taking them out and shortening them with a hacksaw unless someone can tell me what I'm missing.
Best,
Jonathan

RESPONSE: Jonathan, a common problem is mixing up the parts. If you use an incorrect part on a step, a subsequent step will have issues. The steering shaft should be installed in the down position, and there is a left spindle, and a right one. Take your steering completely apart, correctly identify all of the parts, make sure you have not use an incorrect part on a previous step. Then begin step by step assembly, pay attention to left, right, top, bottom. read and re-read each step. Finally, if you cannot do it, bring it in to us, or see if a local small engine repair shop can assemble it for you
