BUGGY PERFORMANCE

GY6 150 Performance Upgrade Parts
HOW TO UPGRADE GY6 150    

   The stock CDI limits the GY6 150 to about 5500 rpm. Our RACING CDI UPGRADE fixes this and allows the engine to achieve 9500 rpm. Further upgrades shown below can increase the output of the standard engine all the way up to 17+ hp with simple modifications

   Next, a Transmission Upgrade can dramatically improve low end power and acceleration by up to 40%. You can start with a Basic Upgrade to SLIDER WEIGHTS (10 or 11 gram) for your stock variator and changing your CLUTCH TORQUE SPRING

   Further upgrades include a DR PULLEY VARIATOR, Racing Clutch and DRIVE BELT. We recommend the GTC CLUTCH because it comes complete with the Clutch, Bell, Pulley and Torque Spring, fully assembled and ready to install. The DR PULLEY HiT CLUTCH can be used when maximum racing performance is desired. Use your existing Bell and Pulley and add the TORQUE SPRING. Checkout the Level 1 thru Level 6 TRANSMISSION UPGRADE KITS

   The next step would be a PERFORMANCE EXHAUST,  HIGH FLOW AIR INTAKE and CARBURETOR MAIN JET

   Finally, a 180cc BIG BORE KIT will complete the transformation to High Performance machine. The kit includes a high compression piston which will add up to 4 horsepower and installs very easily with NO MACHINING necessary
