270cc Powersport Engine, Sport Tank, Throttle Hookup for gokart or
minibike. Add a Clutch or Torque Converter in Product Options above.
1" Keyed Crankshaft x 3-31/64" Drilled and Tapped
The 270 can accomodate the TC2 30 Series Torque Converters with the
Integrated Jackshaft, whereas the 340 and 390 will accept the 40 Series which
requires your vehicle be equipped with a Jackshaft for the Driven Clutch.

Replacement Engines for American Gokarts
9, 11 and 13hp engines have been widely used on larger sized, off-road Go
Karts made by Manco, Kenbar, Kartco, Trophy
Kart and typically used Tecumseh Engines and Comet Torque Converters.
Our Titan engines are direct replacements
Torque Converter replacement
Titan Engines can accept our GTC Torque Converters, which are fully
compatible with Comet and serve as a direct replacement on most older off-road
Go Karts including the Manco Dingo, Kenbar D-611 and most other models. The
larger engines have a 1" Crankshaft and can use our 1" Torque Converter Kits
like GTC 1003 or 1004. The smaller 6hp engines have a 3/4" Shaft and use GTC
1001 or 1002.
In more recent times, the 270/340/390 engines have been used for Kart
Racing with tracks all over the world including appropriate IKA and WKA
Honda/Clone classes. We have developed a line of inovative performance parts for
these engines
Buggy Conversion: older chinese
buggies
Got an older 150 or 250cc Chinese made buggy with a dead engine or
transmission? It can sometimes be difficult to find oem replacement parts for
older, discontinued models. A growing number of customers have used our engines
and torque converters to convert an older buggy. You will need to install an
engine mounting plate, 9, 11 or 13hp Titan. if your tires are 16" or less, you
can use GTC 30 Series Torque Converter models 1003 or 1004 depending upon chan
size. The 1003 is for #35 chain. The 1004 comes with a #40/41 sprocket that can
also be used with #420 chain
On a larger buggy with tires exceeding 16", you will likely need to use the
more powerful GTC 40 Series Torque Converter. The GTC 40 uses a jackshaft
installed on your vehicle for final drive

Review: I contacted Eric with questions about a Go Kart engine for the frame my father picked up 2 years ago. The Kart didn't have an engine in it,so I'm new to go karts and had no clue what I needed to get this put together. I called a different company last year and received no help so I put it off. Eric took the time to find an engine and torque converter that will work for my frame. He asked for pictures to assure a clean fit. You have all my business from here out. Customer service has been lacking in today's businesses for awhile, it was truly a wonderful feeling to get the answers I needed and he added some info to help with the rest of the build. I wanted to give Eric a big shout out.
