TrailMaster MINI XRX+ Kids GoKart, 5.5hp E-Start Remote Start/Kill

I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter. She loves it and rides daily. Governor easy to adjust to slow her down. Suspension is a little tight for the little ones. Only issue was the chain lost its mater link. So far so good. Electric start is the way to go !!

We bought this for my 5 1/2 yr old son at the end of March at the on set of COVID, because we knew he was going to need something to keep him occupied through the summer. He had a battery power tractor for about 2 yrs and had about worn it out so it was time to upgrade. I had been researching go karts and then saw the video for this one with the remote start and thought it was just right. At first I wanted to make him work for it so was going to get a manual start then thought about it and knew I was going to have to work for it and decided on the electric start. I was surprised at how quick it arrived, about a week from CA to VA. I got a buddy that works at a small engine shop to put it together for warranty but it wasn't anything I couldn't have done. The instructions weren't the best but with a little patience it came together. He left some play in the throttle so my son didn't get carried away until he had some practice, which took about two days then he asked me if I would build him a ramp. At first he couldn't quite reach the start button or get full throttle with the seat all the way forward which I liked because I didn't have to worry about him going too fast. With a little growth spurt he can now get in, strap in, helmet up and start it all by himself. It has been durable and we like the 5 point safety harness, he learned how to do donuts and ended up rolling it on it's side. No injuries and just scuffs on the paint, a little shock but was ready to get back in after about 20 minutes of relaxing. We are expecting to get about 5-7 yrs out of it before he out grows it, with it's adjustable seat and harness. It has plenty of power, carried me around the yard at 220 lbs, (head sticking out of the roll cage), but I believe it has power upgrades that it will probably get before he out grows it.

I am very happy with both of these I purchased. All parts were included and assembly was fairly easy. The engines are running well and easy to adjust governor. My 4 and 6 year olds love them and fit well. I test drove them and even at 6’1” 250 it was fun to drive.
