Centrifugal Clutch
for gokarts and minibikes
Part 2228: 1" bore, 10-tooth, #40/41 chain
This is a Heavy Duty Clutch for use with larger 8hp engines. Will also work on 11-13hp which typically have a 1" Crankshaft. This Clutch is mounted in the outboard position only
This clutch is mounted with sprocket away from engine on a 1" crankshaft and is held on by a bolt that screws into the end of crankshaft
NOTE: Although this clutch is rated by the manufacturer for use on engines up to 8hp, it has been successfully used on engines up to 11hp for years. If your product is large, has large wheels, or heavy weight, you may wish to consider using a Torque Converter (see below)
